ShibataFenderTeam supports ATPYC Young Professionals in Menorca

In early October 2019, the Spanish PIANC Young Professionals invited their members to a two-day technical conference, hosted in Menorca. As a PIANC Platinum Partner, but also as a Corporate Member of ATPYC in Spain , ShibataFenderTeam used the opportunity to once again closely engage with the successful future of the industry.

The event consisted of a two days conference with technical presentations from different companies creating a rich and informative program for the participants. Sharing our knowledge with the participants representing all major companies and public entities related to the Maritime Sector in Spain was a very good reason to join and sponsor this event.

Our Sales Engineer, being responsible for the Spanish market, Mr. Alvaro Rodero, participated on behalf of our Spanish office. His presentation circled around key aspects for the durability of fender systems, which are amongst others, a holistic approach to fender system design, high-quality raw materials and compounding as well as a manufacturing process by a highly skilled manufacturer.

Our activities with ATPYC  in the Spanish market and our successfully installed fenders made ShibataFenderTeam the reference in fender engineering in Spain with a very good reputation. By attending and also sponsoring the YP event in Menorca, we further built on our successful work in Spain.

It is always a pleasure to share our experience in fender design with the industry and to make this knowledge available to Young Professional.
