SFT Cone Fenders delivered for cruise hub in Dubai

Under the joint development between Meeras and Carnival Corporation, the Dubai Harbour project is shaping up to become the main hub for cruise tourism in Dubai. With the Dubai Tourism Vision 2020 in mind and the intention to bring 20 million guests into the emirate per year, the installation of over 50 nos. of ShibataFenderTeam´s SPC 1600 Cone Fenders is a big step forward and will allow bringing all kinds of cruise vessels along.

The operation of the cruise vessels will gradually be moved from the older Cruise Terminal into the new, prime cruise location in Dubai. But not only will this be a major hub for large cruise liners in the region, it also features the Middle East´s and North Africa´s largest yacht marina. (#3767)
