FE Element Fender Systems for Bulk Grain Terminal in Södertälje

Södertälje´s Bulk Grain Terminal in Sweden is now equipped with 5 sets of ShibataFenderTeam´s FE Element Fender systems. The fenders are FE600´s with steel panels of 1.000 x 1.500 mm which are fitted with UHMW-PE frontal plates.

The new dolphin based quay in the Port of Södertälje is designed to receive ships with a maximum length of 130 meters. The operator´s plan is to handle about 50.000 tons of grain each year.
