Excursion of engineers from Inros Lackner to our production facility in Rechlin, Germany

In September, a group of Marine Engineers from Inros Lackner visited our production facility in Rechlin, Germany. The production plant is ShibataFenderTeam’s European production location for Steel Panels, Foam Fender and HD-PE sliding fenders.

Board member Mr. Dominique Polte and Production Plant Manger Mr. Michael Weiss took the engineers on an extensive tour of the facility, including all five building with the production and warehouse, where the engineers got an overview and a better impression of the dimensions of foam fenders, steel panels and all the accessories and fixings.

During their visit the engineers got to see the manufacturing of an Ocean Cushion Fender as well as the welding of steel panels for a large scale order that is soon to be shipped to Scandinavia.

  

Our dedicated team of employees was able to answer all questions about fender production, design and shipment, and gave the visitors an insight into the production process. The engineers were impressed by the process and had a very useful learning experience on the design and manufacturing of marine fender systems.
