SFT equipped Kapellskär's new Ferry Terminal with SPC Fenders

We have successfully completed delivery of 35 double SPC -1100 Cone Fender Systems to Stockholm’s new ferry terminal in Kapellskär, Sweden. This is one of the milestone projects within the 5 year frame agreement between the port of Stockholm and ShibataFenderTeam for the fender refurbishment of large parts of the Stockholm harbor.

The fender panels on the pier head are hinge connected while the single panels on the main pier are equipped with additional shear chains. All steel and coating work originates from our own fabrication yard in Rechlin, Germany with the panels being coated with a high-abrasion resistant glass flake coating.
